CORAL CAVE
Coral Cave at Cheow Lan Lake offers a mesmerizing spectacle of nature, featuring incredible stalactites and stalagmites surrounded by the serene beauty of the wilderness.

Coral Cave, located in Ratchaprapha Dam, is a hidden gem inside
Khao Sok. This cave, resembling sea caves like Tham Nam Lod or
Tham Thalu, features flowing water year-round and is filled with
stunning stalactites and stalagmites. Its unique coral-like formations
are believed to have been formed by the deposition of calcite-rich
water combined with special air conditions. Locals say the cave was
once submerged under the sea, which explains the coral-like features
and the discovery of single – celled marine fossils dating back 250-400 million years. The cave’s interior remains pristine, with no unpleasant odors typically found in caves.
